PERFORMER
Chloe is an experienced saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist and interdisciplinary performer.
She studied saxophone performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Throughout her six years of study she learnt with Naomi Sullivan, Andy Tweed and Kyle Horch, as well as taking multi-instrumental lessons (flute and clarinet) with Paul Saunders, Mark O’Brien and Jonathan Rimmer.
Upon graduating with distinction, Chloe received the Postgraduate Pedagogy Award and the Bill Warman Musicians’ Union Award. Her studies were supported generously by the Leverhulme scholarship fund and Help Musician's UK.
Chloe’s versatility has enabled performance experience across classical, chamber, contemporary and commercial sectors. Since 2023 she has played full time on “Fastlove: The Tribute to George Michael” [UK tour], for which she is also currently the tour manager.

Chloe is a co-founder of The Kassia Trio, a modern reinvention of the piano trio. The group champions classical and contemporary music, performing regularly across the UK in both formal and outreach settings. EDUCATOR
Chloe is a highly regarded educator who champions employability skills alongside traditional and modern saxophone practices. She has extensive experience as a saxophone tutor across primary, secondary and higher education.
Since 2018 Chloe has been the saxophone tutor at the Junior Department of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Her work here involves high-level one-to-one teaching and ensemble coaching, including successful preparation for auditions at UK conservatoires. Her students regularly achieve outstanding results up to diploma level, as well as many continuing on to undergraduate study.
Chloe is a tutor on the Primary Winds Programme within the Junior Department. The scheme provides beginner players from all backgrounds early access to excellent 1:1 and group learning provision in a nurturing environment.
Chloe tutors and examines regularly at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire [RBC] across undergraduate and postgraduate courses. She is involved in the multi-instrumental and saxophone provision within the Woodwind Department, and is invited regularly to coach and take classes. Chloe has been involved in the running and planning of two major public facing events at RBC. In both 2022 and 2023, alongside colleagues Naomi Sullivan, Andy Tweed and Anna Brooks, Chloe co-directed the RBC Single Reed Days.
In recent years Chloe has been invited to give classes on a number of summer schools and instrument days. These include events at Yehudi Menuhin School (Philomel Music Academy), Solihull School and Newcastle-under-Lyme School.
Chloe is also the saxophone tutor at the University of Nottingham as well as holding teaching posts at two of the Midland’s leading private schools where she is responsible for single reed provision from years 3 to 13.
